Well, here we are... My last post...

I'm going to miss my Japanese class and this blog... Perhaps I'll come back to it one day. I'm glad it helped me to learn how to write in Japanese... Will definitely come in handy in the future.

This is actually my first blog and I hope this will be an interesting read for all!

The reasons why I decided to pursue Japanese are threefold:

1. I've always been interested in different cultures, especially Japan. One day, I plan to travel the world and learn more about the many people who live here.

2. In 2005, I started Proofed Magic, my freelance proofreading business. While I was looking for clients, I noticed that a few publishers are looking for people who know Japanese. So, I decided, "Why not?" But now, I realized that I really want to learn this language so I can understand what I read on a daily basis.

3. Five years from now, I plan to teach English in Japan.
